Growing up I loved doing puzzles. My Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle “The Secret of the Ooze” poster puzzle was my most favorite puzzle I would do at my grandparents’ house. Now with the number of apps available you can have access to almost any puzzle as well creating your own. Here is a list I’ve compiled of the ‘Top 5 iPad Kids Puzzle Games’.
1.) Shape Puzzle
Shape Puzzle is not only entertaining and colorful but it’s also educational. While your kids are having a great time playing with puzzles and getting some live action on the screen they’ll be learning about their nouns, verbs and adjectives.

2.) Kids’ Puzzles
This puzzle game has a number of different categories with a star system. The more stars you earn then you’ll have the chance to unlock Bonus Pictures. This brand new puzzle game consists of classic jigsaw puzzles with original cartoon pictures.

3.) Puzzingo
Filling in blank spaces of the layout with the according item is the name of this game. A dark shad of a stack of hamburgers is where you’ll drag the colored hamburgers to complete the different levels. A number of different sets are also available with this app, princess and fairies, holidays, cars and space are just a few examples.

4.) Animal Puzzles for Kids
Start by choosing one of the animal images available then you’re taken to a section where you’ll place the animal or entire image with about 4 pieces of more. The game is simple and entertaining for a child to grab hold of for hours of entertainment.

5.) Jigsaw Puzzle
You can break up the stock images into 49 pieces within the free version, but in order to get up to 400 pieces you’ll need to purchase the premium package of the app for full access. You can also create your own jigsaw puzzles, but again, only with the premium package. This apps’ difficulty can change based on the number of pieces you allow your puzzle to be. Be sure to keep that in consideration with your young ones.
