The Machine is an exciting action game with a plethora of levels wherein you control a small ink droplet and work your way through the vast blueprints of a complex machine.
To get your ink droplet to you must tap on the screen in the direction that you would like it to go in. If you have the ink droplet jump onto a wall it will attach itself there allowing you to scale up walls or use them to get to higher parts of the level. You can also have the droplet jump and attach to spinning wheels that are floating over the machine maze but be careful, some of them can be saw blades and will destroy your inkblot. There are also slippery walls, attaching bee-like creatures, spike balls, and more that will try and stop you from complete the level.
There are different game modes in The Machine and each one comes with its own challenges. The Core and Hard Core mode are the core original game, but each one is respectively harder than the last. The Arcade mode will have you sending your ink droplet as high as you can, avoiding saw blades chasing you from the bottom of the screen. The Mazes mode will have you solving maze puzzles rather than trying to complete machine levels. And the Blueprint mode is a recoloring to the Core mode, it gives the game a whole different feel.
Your objective is to get to the end of the level where you will jump into a portal and be transported to a different part of the machine. Along the way, you can collect gear that will help you unlock different achievements.
