Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Home Screen Tips & Tricks

Check out the top tips and tricks for configuring and customizing the home screen on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S2:

homescreenChange wallpaper

  1. Tap and hold any blank space on your homescreen.
  2. Tap on Wallpapers at the bottom, then pick any image from the Gallery app.
  3. Wallpapers for the lock screen and home screen can be individually set by changing the selection in the dropdown menu of the image selector

Add and remove widgets

  1. Tap and hold any blank space on your homescreen.
  2. Tap Widgets.
  3. Tap and hold on any widget, then drag and drop to the desired location.

Add or remove home screen pages

  1. Tap and hold any blank space on your homescreen.
  2. To add a page, scroll to the right and tap on the screen with a large plus sign.
  3. To remove a page, tap and drag the page to the trash can icon at the top of the screen.

Add folders

  1. Drag and drop an icon onto another icon until a square highlight behind the icon appears.
  2. A folder is created containing the two apps. At this point you’re prompted to name the folder, and you can choose to either give it a name or leave it blank.
  3. You can customize the background color of the folder by tapping the Palette icon to the right of the folder name inside the folder.
  4. To remove a folder, tap and hold on the folder, then drag up to the remove icon at the top of the screen, or drag apps out of the folder until none are left.
