Did you know there is a hidden treasure trove of information and functionality behind every conversation in the Messages app on your iPhone? Check out all the features of Messages Details on your iPhone 6.
- Open the Messages app.
- Navigate to one of your conversations.
- To view the exact times a message was received or sent, swipe towards the right in the conversation to show a timestamp on each message.
- Press and hold on any message to reveal some options you can take on that message.
- Tap on the More… option in the popover to show the multi selector, this lets you choose multiple messages to select and take action on.
- Tap on the Details button in the top left to view the Details page for the conversation.
- In the Details view, you will see the contact card for the person you’re having the conversation with, including options to call, FaceTime, or view the full contact card for this person.
- There are options to share your location with this contact. Check out our How to Share your Location in Messages article for details.
- At the bottom, you can scroll through and see every attachment shared in the conversation, including photos, saved audio, and other files.
- To delete an attachment, tap and hold the preview to open a popup menu above the item, then tap Delete.
