Now that you’ve gotten your shiny brand new iPhone 5 it’s time to customize it to fit you. One of the easiest and simplest ways of doing this is to customize your iPhone 5’s wallpaper. You can do by choosing one of the default wallpapers that comes with your iPhone 5, a picture from your Camera Roll, a picture from your computer, and a picture from the web or an app.
To change the wallpaper you go into Settings, Brightness and Wallpaper, and then select Wallpaper and you’ll be able to choose from any of the photos that are on your iPhone. Once you’ve selected the photo that you would like to use all you have to do is resize it to your screen and tap done.
I’m going to show you a couple of my favorite websites and an app that you can get wallpapers from.

I like this website a lot because it has a lot of quality backgrounds for the iPhone 5. This is a community driven website so the wallpapers that you see uploaded are from the members. From this site you can see a preview of what the wallpaper will look like on a Lock Screen and a Home Screen before you even download the wallpaper. If you would like to you can also choose to upload your own wallpaper for others to use. When you’re ready to download a wallpaper just click on it to get the full resolution file and then save it to your computer. From here all you have to do is put the photo on your iPhone and then select it as your wallpaper.
Retina Wallpapers & Backgrounds

This App was one of the only ones that I could find at the time that has been optimized to take full advantage of the iPhone 5’s 4” Retina Display. This App breaks wallpapers into categories that you can choose from and there are even subcategories that will make your searching even quicker. I’ve found a lot a quality wallpapers using this App. All of the wallpapers shown in the App are free to use but there are some categories that are a premium feature and you’ll have to purchase them. You can even preview the wallpaper on a Lock Screen and Home Screen before you download it. There is even an option to share the current wallpaper on Facebook and Twitter. Once you’ve found the wallpaper that you want to use, tap the download button and the wallpaper will be saved to your Camera Roll. From here you can go into the Brightness and Wallpaper Settings and choose that photo for your wallpaper. You can even choose the photo directly from the Camera Roll as well, all you’ll have to do is tap the Share button and then Use as Wallpaper. From here you can resize the photo if you would like to and then tapping on Set will set the photo as your wallpaper.
iPhone 5 Wallpapers
This is another wallpaper website dedicated to iPhone 5 wallpapers. All of the wallpapers on this site are optimized for the iPhone 5’s Retina display so you don’t have to worry about finding wallpapers that won’t work. The great thing about this site is that they organize all of the wallpapers into categories for easy searching and downloading. Once you’ve found a category that you would like, select it and you’ll see all of the wallpapers associated with that category. Once you’ve found the wallpaper that you would like to use, you can download the full resolution file to your computer. From here all you have to do is put the photo on your iPhone and select it as your wallpaper.
