- Download a keyboard app from the App Store.
- Once downloaded, open the General menu in the Settings app.
- Tap on Keyboard, then tap on Keyboards.
- Tap on Add New Keyboard…
- Select the name of the keyboard you just downloaded.
- Optionally, tap on the keyboard and enable the toggle Enable Full Access. This option allows the keyboard to function to its full ability. Otherwise, some features might not be usable.
- To switch to your new keyboard, whenever a keyboard is visible, tap and hold on the globe icon in the bottom left corner, and select your keyboard from the popup menu.
- To return to the default keyboard, tap on the globe icon again.
