It’s probably a safe bet that most of the people you know have a smartphone, and this fact makes sharing all kinds of stuff that much more fun and useful. Check out how to use and customize the Share Sheet functionality on your iPhone 6.
- Tap on the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up and out) anywhere it is available to reveal the share sheet.
- The Share Sheet is separated into three sections: AirDrop, Share, and Actions.
- The options available on the Share Sheet vary based on the context of what is being shared, and only show relevant options. For example, only apps that can share or perform actions on photos will be available when using the Share Sheet on a photo.
- To change which share options are available, tap on the More icon to the right of the default share icons (you might have to swipe to the right to see it).
- A view will show all of the available share options for the current media type. Use the toggles to enable or disable any options you would like to use or hide, respectively.
- Use the grab bars to the right of the options to rearrange. This is a great way to make your most used icons appear first.
- Tap on Done in the top right to save your selected options. The settings you have saved will remain the same for the share sheet on all similar media types (for example, if you have edited the share sheet on a photo, tapping on the Share button will show the same share sheet).
