Great iPhone Apps I Use Every Day

I have had an overwhelming request to put together a list of apps that I use every day and why I use them. This is just a list of apps I use daily. Some of these apps are free, some cost a few $$. There are many more apps that I use, just not on a daily basis. I would love to hear which apps you use daily, share that with me in the comments below.

Tweetie iPhone App ReviewTweetie
Tweetie is currently leading the way in Twitter clients for the iPhone. I use Tweetie because it is easy to reply to tweets and see which tweet my follower was responding to. The number one reason I use Tweetie is that it interfaces with http://ping.fm so I can post one message to all of my social networks at once. Tweetie has a clean user interface and allows you to manage multiple Twitter accounts at once. Tweetie currently has a cost of $2.99 but I feel the price is well worth it. Byline iPhone App ReviewByline
I subscribe to a lot of blogs, I would say over 80 in which I have all categorized nicely in my Google Reader account. Byline allows me to access the blog feeds I subscribe to through Google Reader in a nice interface. As of right now the only way to do this is through Google using Safari, which sucks. Google has yet to launch an app that will display your Reader Feeds. One of Byline’s best features is the ability to Star and Note items so you can view them later. You can also have Byline save a portion of your unread feeds in the app so you can view them offline, like in an airplane! Watch my review on Byline and [Download Byline]

Things iPhone App ReviewThings
I am probably in and out of Things 10-15 times a day. I use it to manage my daily ToDo’s and projects that I have going on. Things syncs with my computer so my laptop and my iPhone always have the same list. Things does require a desktop client if you want to use it in tandem with your Mac and your iPhone but you can use the app by itself if you don’t feel the need to back up to your desktop. Things is easy to use, you won’t get lost in this productivity app. Things is $9.99 so it’s not the cheapest app but I can promise you that you will make it back by increasing your productivity level. I always know where I am at with a web design project, my app reviews or my honey do’s with Things. Watch my review of Things and [Download Things].

Public Radio iPhone App ReviewPublic Radio
When I am driving I listen to National Public Radio to get my news and to hear about what is going on in this world. It is often that I have to get out of the car when a story is still going that I want to listen to the remainder of. I have my local NPR station saved in the favorites, one click to launch the app and I am listening to the story. This app works great over 3G. If only you could listen to audio with a bluetooth device I would be in heaven. Public Radio is a free app. Watch my review of Public Radio and [Download Public Radio]

Lex and Terry iPhone AppLex & Terry
I have not been a Lex and Terry listener for very long but I have been daily for the last few weeks. Lex & Terry is a radio show and I hate the radio, especially morning shows but I enjoy their show. I grew up listening to good morning shows, they are not so good anymore and the shows that are I can’t find time to listen to. I suggest you give this free app a download and listen for a while. I have not reviewed this app because there is not much to the app but you can [Download Lex & Terry] here.

Pandora iPhone App ReviewPandora
When I am not listening to NPR or Lex & Terry I am listening to Pandora because Pandora knows what I like. If you have not downloaded the free Pandora app yet then get on it! Pandora learns your style. Set up your own stations and hear what you want to hear. Pandora can be credited for introducing me to many new bands over the years. The Pandora app works great over a 3G connection. I use it at the gym all the time. Watch my review of Pandora and [Download Pandora].

Freshbooks iPhone App ReviewFreshbooks
Freshbooks is an online invoicing, time tracking and expense service. I use it to invoice and track the time I work on my clients projects. I have been using Freshbooks for a year now and love it. I came from using Quickbooks, Freshbooks has allowed me to go completely paperless in my billing process. The Freshbooks app is a free app but the Freshbooks service cost a few bucks a month. You can try Freshbooks for free on me by clicking here. Watch my review of Freshbooks and [Download Freshbooks].

There are many other apps that I use often and I will write another blog soon about those apps. Please let me know which apps you use on a daily basis and why below in the comments.
