Got A Couple Minutes? Check Out These Quick Games

So many times we need a quick distraction with to have a minute to relax, but you can’t invest in a game that’s very involved (Like an RPG or online game). Sometimes you only have one hand available (ahem guys holding purses for their gals). DailyAppShow has selected some of the best games that you can pick up and play quickly without getting to entrenched into gameplay.

TwoDots

TwoDots is the followup game to the wildly popular game Dots. TwoDots expands on the simple gameplay of Dots for a level-based game that introduces new features and gameplay. The game is regularly updated with new levels, music, and mechanics to keep you entertained for hours…a few minutes at a time. TwoDots is a very approachable game, and each level can be conquered just a few minutes.

Shades
shadesshades

Shades is a dropdown game not unlike Tetris where the objective is to combine shaded blocks of a single color across the screen. Building a row of a single shade will eliminate the bar and make more room. The game ends when you reach the top of the screen. The simple gameplay makes for an addicting pickup game that is both relaxing and stressful at the same time.

Make Them Fight
fightmakethemfight

You’re defending your honorable stickmen in Make Them Fight. You play as two sword-wielding stick figures that are fending off shuriken attacks from enemy stick figures on the other side of the screen. All you have to do is touch to make your heroes slash the throwing stars out of the air, but be careful though, as you can only make one of your figures swing at a time. Timing is key in Make Them Fight.

7 Little Words

For those less action oriented, or if you want more of a brain teaser, 7 Little Words is a vocabulary based puzzle game. In each round, you are given seven definitions of words that you have to hunt down and type using a field of letters given to you. Each letter can only be used once, so you need to find the exact right words. 7 Little Words is puzzling at first, but extremely satisfying to complete.

Absorptionabsorption
absorb

Absorption is unlike any other game I’ve played: you gain points by absorbing enemies, which you do by moving as close as you can to them without touching. Touch the enemies or the walls and you’re finished. Each round takes only a couple minutes and requires just one finger or thumb to play.
