The new GoPro HERO4 Session includes the HiLight Tagging feature, which lets you mark a moment during your recording session that you want to quickly return to as you review and edit your footage with GoPro Studio. Check out how to use HiLight Tagging on your HERO4 Session:
You can add a HiLight tag whenever you’re recording with your GoPro Session in any of three ways:
On the Camera
Whenever recording, simply click the Info/WiFi button to add a HiLight Tag.
With Smart Remote
You can also HiLight Tag with the Smart Remote accessory. After connecting to the Smart Remote and when recording, click the Settings/Tag button (wrench icon).
With GoPro App
You can also HiLight Tag with the GoPro App for iPhone and Android. After connecting the Session to the GoPro app and when recording, tap the yellow HiLight Tag button at the bottom right-hand corner.
Viewing HiLight Tags
HiLight Tags are viewable in the GoPro Studio app on the desktop after importing your footage. To download and learn more about the GoPro Studio app, visit the GoPro Studio webpage.
