Family Orbit is an app to locate your family, monitor your kids, and share contents with your family members. It is like a private social network for families where you can stay connected with your loved ones 24/7.
To ensure that your family stays connected, you’ll want to have them each install Family Orbit on their device and create an account. Parents can create an account for their minor childer if the should wish to do so. What’s nice is that no matter what device you’re using, Android or iPhone, Family Orbit has an app for you to use, no leaving anyone out based upon their preferences. Once everyone is signed in on their devices you can rest a little easier.
From the main feed, you can see what’s new with you family. You’ll see photos, location updates, driving speeds, panics, contacts, geofence alerts, and much more! There are settings for each individual person in your family that can be set up by the “creator” of the accounts. You’ll be able to monitor any photos that are taken, see when they leave or arrive at locations, share contacts, and more! This is really handy in our constantly moving the world!
Family Orbit also has a Panic mode just in case! If you, or your child, feels that they are in an emergency situation, they can enable Panic mode which will send an alert to all family members with their location so you can send help! This isn’t a replacement for calling emergency services but can be useful for parents to make sure that their kids are always safe!
