How to Customize Quick Settings on LG G4

There’s more to the notification drawer than just notifications. In fact, you can control a lot of the most commonly changed settings from anywhere on your phone! Lets go over how to use and customize Quick Settings in in the notification drawer of your LG G4:

  • Open the Notification Panel by swiping down on the status bar at the top of the screen. You will see the quick settings toggles at the top.
  • Swipe on the toggles list to view all the available toggles.
  • Tapping on most widget will turn it’s setting on or off.
  • Some toggles allow you to tap and hold the toggle to access additional options, such as connecting to a specific Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth device.

Customizing Quick Settings

The quick settings toggles can be customized to show only the toggles you need and in the order that works best for you. To hide and rearrange the toggles:

  1. Open the Notifications drawer by swiping down on the status bar.
  2. Tap the Edit icon at the right side of the quick settings bar.
  3. Deselect the checkmark next to each icon you wish to hide.
  4. Use the drag handles to the right of the screen to rearrange. Keep in mind that the first five icons will be the easiest to access as they appear first when the notification panel is open.
  5. Tap the back button (triangle icon) on your navigation bar to return to the Notification panel.
