Before you can begin using CodePix, the first thing that you’ll need to do is sign in with your Facebook account, thus creating your CodePix account. Once you’ve signed in with Facebook you’ll then be brought into the main feed of CodePix.

In the Feed, you can see other images that users have posted. Some of them will be distorted, oddly colored, pixelated, blurred, and more, this will represent the images that have been coded that you will then need to de-code to see the hidden image. The user who posted the image will have given instructions on how to de-code the image. Sometimes you will have to tap on a certain area, other times you will have to draw on an area, and sometimes it could even be a text clue, either way once you’ve successfully entered the correct code you can then see the hidden image.

To post your own CodePix, you’ll need to tap the camera icon and then either take a picture or choose one from the camera library. Once you’ve got your image in place you can then add filters, distortion, selective color, effects, drawing, and more. Once you are ready to code the image you’ll need to choose either to Gesture Lock or Text Lock the image. When you’re ready to post, tap on the Check Mark and then it’ll be posted to CodePix for all users to see and de-code.
