Claim your fame by uploading your best 5 second video clips and climb the leaderboards or discover fresh, viral video content by judging video battles: two videos playing simultaneously in a loop, you decide which videos win!
Tapping on the Clashem icon in the bottom right corner of the screen with bringing you into the main feed where you can rate two different 5-second video clips. This will be the screen that you launch into when opening the app and coincidently where you will be spending most of your time with Clashem.
To rate a video, all you need to do is swipe right on the video that you think it best. This will add your vote to the video and you can check on that later on in the Leaderboards. After you’ve chosen a video two more will appear and you will then need to vote on those ones. If you tap on a video you can Flag the video if you feel it’s inappropriate, Add the user to your Favorites, or view the user’s Profile where you can see more of their videos. When you’re done voting on videos it’s time to check in with the leaderboards.
The crown icon will show the Leaderboards where you can see stats for Global, Following, and Staff Picks on Clashem. The Global leaderboard will show you which videos are trending worldwide, Following will show you the leaderboards for users you’re following, and Staff Picks is where you can see some of Clashem’s favorites! Either tab you choose, you’re sure to find some amazing video clips.
When you’re ready to post your own clip tap on the “+” in the bottom of the menu. You’ll be able to select a video that is on your camera roll, so be sure to have one ready. At the time of writing this, you cannot shoot a new video clip with Clashem, you’ll need to import one. Once you’ve got the clip selected it’s then time to trim the clip to five seconds and then post! Now sit back and watch the votes come in!
