Let’s say that you are your friends are planning on a long hike and want to make sure that everyone is accounted for at all times, on the trail and back at home. Brother’s Keeper is going to be a great way for you to keep tabs on those fellow family members and/or friends that you’ve got coming with you!
First you’ll need to ensure that everyone you plan on hiking with installs Brother’s Keeper on their iPhone and sign in with their Facebook account. This is going to allow you to add then to your Connections within Brother’s Keeper, this will ensure that everyone can be seen on the Navigation tab. Once everyone is signed in be sure and add them as your friend in Brother’s Keeper and then you’ll be able to check them off in the Connections tab to show them on the map.
Once you’re on the trail you’ll want to hop into the Navigation tab, this is where you can see everyone in your current Group on the map and keep tabs on where they are. Tapping on their picture will show you their Movement history as well as their current battery percentage. In the Navigation tab, you can also add Waypoints that way you can keep track of where you’ve been or put it do so everyone can meet up there. And, if you’re ever in trouble all you need to do is activate the Distress Call and your location will be sent to all of the members of the group as well as your iPhone itself will begin flashing and making sounds enabling you to be found much easier!
