Broadtags is a new free social network where you can follow #Hashtags, not people to find interesting trending subjects and follow trending topics!
When first launching BroadTags you’ll be able to select some hashtags that you’d like to follow, this will give BroadTags a general idea as to what you may be interested in so BroadTags can give you suggestions on what to follow. Once you’ve selected some initial hashtags to follow you’ll be brought into the Feed where you can being browsing through the hashtags.
From the Feed you’ll see thumbnails of each hashtag that you follow, the thumbnail will be generated from the image of the latest post in that given hashtag. Tapping on a thumbnail will bring you into it where you can view all posts that match that hashtag, this will include both photos and videos! From there you’ll be able to like, repost, comment, and share any given post to any of your friends/family! You can also tap on the users profile so you can follow them to ensure that you see all of their posts!
To contribute to any hashtag, all you have to do is tap on the Post button in the bottom middle of the screen. You can create a new post using the camera to capture photos or video, import photos from the camera roll, import a link, and just input plain text. Once you entered in your media and text you can then select a background color, add hashtags, and then post! Your new post will be added to the feeds of the hashtags that you’ve selected. It’s that simple!
Don’t forget to explore and find new hashtags to follow by going into the Explore tab. Here you can search for Popular, Trending, and New hashtags as well as find new people to follow! After all, the community is what makes BroadTags the best it can be!
