You are going to fall in LOVE with Being Unique, a new app designed for the LGBT community. Its purpose is to bring you new articles every day that gives you tips and instructions on how to deal with certain things as a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender person.

When you launch Being Unique you are brought into the newly added Music Player. Here you will see featured tracks that you can listen to while you are reading articles in Being Unique. Tapping on a song will take you into the player where you will have your usual playback controls as well as the ability to share the song with all of your favorite apps on your Android device. Swiping left or right will take you between songs so you can skip or go back to tracks. If you are reading an article while listening to music there won’t be any playback controls, this is to ensure a distraction free reading environment but you can always quickly access the Music tab in the top right hand corner of Being Unique.
All of the articles in Being Unique are broken up into the four community groups; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender. The aim of this is to show articles that are relevant to you in the hopes that you will find them useful and helpful. Entering one of the community pages will show you all of the articles that are available for you to read. Tapping on an article in Being Unique will bring it full screen where you can read it and see any links that are associated with it. You can adjust the text size, share, favorite, and comment on the article by tapping in the top left corner of the article. And once you’re ready to move on to the next article all you have to do is swipe right and you’ll be taken to the next one!
One of the great features of Being Unique is the social/community aspect. You can quickly hop into Being Unique’s Facebook feed and connect with others in the community and gain new friends and support. You’ll also find some of the latest news in this section! You can like Being Unique on Facebook from within the app and being connecting with other Being Unique users!
