If you’re like me, then you had or are having a really hard time finding a job in this economy. My resume` is strong, I have experience and education, there are just so many other people with in the same situation.
Job boards don’t tend to do any good, especially with all of the scam artists out there just trying to sell your something or get ahold of your social security number. Then there are the people who vulture on them trying to sell you something, or get you to join their pyramid scheme. as if you aren’t having enough trouble as it is.
Well there is now an app called Authentic Jobs, this app is geared toward creative professionals and will show you job postings in those areas. No longer do you need to sift through all of the jobs, and then figure out which ones are legitimate postings.
Authentic Jobs has a few different search features at the top of the app. Full-Time, Contract, Freelance, and Internship. Each of these four areas are specially formatted with the search criteria to bring in their respective types of job listings.
You can search by Jobs, Companies, Locations, and view any job postings that you have elected to mark as Favorite. Once you locate a job that you like you can select it and read about the job description. at the bottom of the page, if there are any listed, you see the job perks and an option to apply for the job or mark the job as favorite.
The top of the page has a button to apply for the job, mail the job, visit the company website, or even tweet the job to your followers!
