3 Reasons Why I Snapchat

At my first use with Snapchat, I was skeptic. Really seemed pointless to send someone photo messages when my iPhone is already capable of such a massive feat. Then I gave it another chance and just saw the fun in the app’s platform. Adding more friends to my list and creating pointless photo conversations became a new hobby.

1.) The Meanings of Snap
Snap had two different meanings in using this app. First meaning is the photo/video capabilities, which is a given. The second meaning of ‘Snap’ within Snapchat is that it’s really fast. From receiving a snapchat from a friend to sending a mass one out to your friends is really easy.

2.) Visual Conversations
My cousins across the country or other cronies from on the other side of the world can share with me the current view that they have. It’s a more personal touch to photo posting. Instagram might allow you to share something general about your current circumstance, wants or dreams. But with Snapchat, you’ll send a photo to another individual, or group, of what you are experiencing right at that exact moment.

3.) Embarrassing Selfies with No Consequences
The ability to take the most disturbing photos of yourself and setting the timer to 1 second so you know that the photo will do nothing more but make your friend smile for a moment.
